Painting Pets with Personality TM

Painting in the Studio

After studying art in college, my career path led to Hollywood, where I spent several years in the entertainment industry before rediscovering my inner artist when I painted my beloved parti-poodle, Gracie. I soon left show biz behind and moved to the Atlanta area and became a full-time artist, drawing and painting pets for people who love them as much as I love my Gracie.  I added Wilson, a shihpoo, to my household 5 years ago and he is referred to as the “Dude” (see his painting with sunglasses on).

I have a bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College with an emphasis in Art, and I have taken classes with the best instructors in Atlanta and abroad.  I have a pet portraiture diploma from the London Art College with “Distinction”. I studied at Atlanta College of Art and fine art training with DiDimizio’s Old World of Art.  I am a big believer in giving back to the animal community.  I am a guardian member of the ASPCA and give donations to Canine Assistants as well as local rescue groups. I use only the finest archival quality paints, brushes and canvases and strive to ensure that every painting is artistically genuine, aesthetically pleasing, and reflects my deep passion and respect for animals.

I am so fortunate to have a dream job that is also spiritually rewarding: I love the entire process of getting to know people and their animals, and preserving forever someone’s much-loved companion. Out of my own love for animals, I get in there and connect with your pet to capture it’s personality and spirit on canvas. It is important to me to give you the best painting possible; I want you to fall in love with your pet all over again and feel the unconditional love radiating from the animal’s soul.
